I have a few builds I wanna try still but they are all kinda situational but damn fun..
Last round I did was classic with fairly bad people on both teams…Enemy teemo was going ap and I haven’t done that before so I started a build… works DAMN well but needs refinement. Basically I’d consider it a mix between… Movespeed Teemo, Ap Teemo and On Hit Teemo (less so).
Enemy team was heavy auto attackers (Mf, teemo, trynd) so I built Frozen Heart to take care of them as well as give my shrooms a MUCH better cooldown. Past that I went Boots of Mobility (easier shroom placement. Basically my goal was to coat all gank/escape routes in shrooms that would deal moderate damage and still let me be back in for teamfights/cleanup), Mejai’s (was having a decent early game, gamble, if not if I had focused on farm vs ganks I would have gone rylas I suppose for extra slow and tankyness w/ my ap) and then topped it off with Malidy and Sword of The Divine (enemy blinds were annoying me).
Obviously could not pull that off in a lot of rounds but it sparked the thought of a mobility ap ganker teemo which for some reason really intrigues me… If the enemy team comp gives you reason to build Frozen Heart then you also end up rather tanky as well which is just tasty.
I’d really like to see how this type of a build would work out in Dominion though. Instead of focusing full mobility/tank (just tried that… it’s kinda fun and obviously works quite well) what if you do a crd/ap build with a dash of move speed so that you can cover all the speed shrines/key areas with shrooms that do more than annoy people… Any (smart) enemy who goes below 50 percent is going to need to run to base or risk being torn apart by shrooms of doom and with so many enemies needing to recall so often you are still free to back door, just more situational versus normal tank/movespeed teemo.
Have work off tomorrow so I suppose I’ll be testing this :D
